Assalam Alaykum,
A few days ago (okay, maybe more than a few), I promised sisters on my mailing list that I’d be sending out something I’ve been working on as a gift to them. Well, that something is completed and I really had fun finishing it, alhamdullilah.
What is it, you ask? It’s literally: Black, White, and Red: A Decision Book
Oftentimes I’m asked to give naseeha (or advice) to sisters in tough situations and I’m weary of doing so because while it is human nature to have an opinion about something, it’s also important to realize that there are two sides to a story and trying to impart judgement is not always our place to do. In any case, I believe that when someone is asking for advice, they instinctively know what they should (or should NOT) do but for whatever reason, they’re having trouble making the decision to act (or not act).
It’s all about the decision making process – and in this visual book, I set out to help the reader do just that – make decisions.
Now, while I did finish this a few days ago – I’ve had trouble deciding how to go about distributing it. It’s a really big file (because of the high quality photos) - and couldn’t be uploaded here.
I sent people on the mailing list (those who’ve added their email address to the queen of Sheba march at the bottom of sidebar to your right hand side) a link to download it – but it’ll only be available for 7 days.
Now, if you want it and you haven’t received it, you can add your name there – and if there is enough new names I can send it out again after 7 days.
If you don’t want to add your email address there, I totally understand because I sort of dislike mailing lists myself and am a proponent of the “UN-Mailing List” and don’t even use this one very often, but I grudgingly will admit that it can come in handy on the rare occasion when you have something beneficial to say or give away. So, you’ll never have to worry about me overburdening your inbox – I’m really weary of doing that to others because I know how annoying it is when it’s done to me. Yes, I’m defying convention I know – part of the “trust your gut” decision making process
So, it’s up to you – add your address or not and regardless, I’m going to explore other ways of getting it to you inshaAllah.
In the meantime, if you do get your hands on it, feel free to download and share with others who might like it. If you don’t get your hands on it, feel free to ask others who might have gotten it to share one with you
May all your decisions be fruitful in this life and the next andbring you closer to Allah – Ameen. Happy decision making!
Keep me in your duas,
Heba

Assalaamu alaikum
I would like it.
Jazakillahu khairun
Lotifa
I would love to have it insha’Allah.
I would love to have too!!
JazakAllahu Khyran sis. I feel so blessed to have sisters like you in our ummah. InshaAllah I’d like a copy.
me too inshaAllah!
i’d love a copy
although i do have a secret formula of my own which isnt realy a secret. istikhara + asking advice + using common sense !
so far its worked. alhamdulillah
JazakAllah Khair sis Heba..
May Allah bless you and your family, who have definitely made our lives easier in the path of deen and also make deen our life.
You make it easy to lead our complicated lives, by the will of ALLAh..
feel blessed to have sisters like you..
I WOULD LOOOOve a COPY!
I’m touched by the positive feedback on this one – I was going to give people another week- but it looks like you guys can’t wait. MashaAllah, it’s making you decisive already
So, I’ll wait 24 more hours and then resend a new link to new email subscribers inshaAllah. Just make sure to enter your email address to your right hand side –> under “BE IN THE KNOW”
If you’re on facebook, I’m posting there right now for my friends (feel free to friend me if you haven’t already -)
And on twitter (ya, I know I suck at it!).
One last thing, if you want to send it to your friends, just download to your computer and then upload to yousendit.com and get a link for them (it’s free to join the site and it’s very useful).
First of all, I absolutely LOVE the title! Came at the perfect time, too! I can’t wait to read it! I think I’ve passed the number of times an exclamation mark can be used in a comment without it sounding like I’m yelling (maybe I am out of excitement
), so I won’t follow up this sentence with one like the rest…
I want one to…
Am I too late?
Or will I be blessed with a copy?
Okay – mashaAllah, there are enough names to warrant another send – -if you want to catch it, make sure your email address is in the “be in the know” box right to your right hand side. InshaAllah, I’ll send out it out to all new subsribers tomorrow (thursday).
And to those that were unable to open it because the site doesn’t download in your country (there were a few from Saudi Arabia who emailed back – not sure if there is a restriction in other parts), I promise that I’m looking for another method to get it to you inshaAllah.
JazakAllahu khayraan for your continued enthusiasm
Count me in inshallah
I want a copy!!! Am I too late???
Assalaamu Alaikum,
I would really like have a copy of that too. Is there anyway I could get it?? or am I too late??

aww it says the “file has either expired or the sender has exhausted the download limit” when I click that link. Khayir.
well that’s good news for you Heba! Means many sisters found it to be of benefit.
Hopefully it will be available again somehow.
I wanted to print it and save it on my knowledge shelf for future reference =) I will see if I can bug some other sisters who may have downloaded it.
Jazakallahu khayir again Sis Heba!
